Backtracks sell very good quality Hi-fi and Disco equipment which is guaranteed in full working order and tested at the time of sale to your satisfaction. Backtracks Music can also reserve most items you wish to purchase upon receipt of a a small deposit and held for 7 days.
We can only accept return of goods if faulty. This must be notified to us within 24 hours All Music and DVD/Video/Computer Games sales are Final. Payment is taken upon receipt of item unless agreed otherwise with management.
Payment can be made in cash by uk cheque with guarantee card or Paypal to (email@example.com) £2 min charge
Mad Hatman Discos Terms & Conditions:
Mad Hatman Discos agrees to provide mobile disco entertainment services for your function, subject to acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
Securing a booking
Booking Sheets must be signed and a minimum deposit of £50 paid to secure your booking. Until signed booking sheet and deposit are received by us, your booking will be classed as provisional and will be held for maximum 7 days from date of contact. Deposits and contracts not received within this time will render the booking cancelled Mad Hatman Discos reserves the right to accept another booking for this date.
In circumstance where the client cancels the contract, the deposit is non refundable.
Whilst this is very rare if on an occasion where Mad Hatman Discos must cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, illness, etc) the amount paid will be refunded. We will attempt to provide a substitute disco if possible when forced into cancellation mentioned previously but can not guarantee this. We retain the right to cancel the disco and give NO refund should we discover that the venue is unsuitable or that access is not allowed or is dangerous in any way even on the night. Mad Hatman Discos are not responsible for any power failure at the venue.
We accept credit card payments - Paypal secure a nominal booking charge is levied to offset cost min £2. All outstanding balances are to be paid 2 weeks before the start of the event. Failure to settle outstanding balances at this time, without prior arrangement with Mad Hatman Discos, will result in immediate termination of the contract. Please note:- No reminder given by Mad Hatman Discos to pay balance.
The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests. If at anytime during the event, the DJ considers their equipment or person to be under threat, either verbally or physically, the DJ reserves the right, on behalf of Mad Hatman Discos to terminate the contract without notice. No refund will be made to the client in these circumstances.
The client may request an extension to the agreed playing time at the DJs discretion in accordance with the following:
Agreement is sought by the client, from the owner/manager of the venue
Overtime fee is paid before the contracted finish time.
Access to Venue
Mad Hatman Discos requires up to 60 minutes to set up prior to the event and to pack up after the event. Clients should inform Mad Hatman Discos if the venue is not located on the ground floor or obstacles restrict access to allow a longer set up/break down period for transport of equipment.
Health and Safety
It is the client's responsibility to ensure the venue has an up to date fire certificate and to familiarise themselves with the venues safety procedures which should then be relayed to the DJ upon arrival.
In the event of loss or damage to equipment or musical materials the client will be responsible for replacing or repairing said items and compensate for losses.
In the unlikely event Mad Hatman Discos are delayed from starting a performance due to events beyond our control, the client is still liable for the full outstanding balance.
All reasonable precautions are taken to safeguard the client with regard to equipment or power failure. Should loss of performance occur as a result of either of these, Mad Hatman Discos shall be under no liability as a result.
The hirer must ensure that the venue has suitably earthed electric supplies that will not carry any malfunction or damage the equipment. (A double or two single sockets near by are required)
No responsibility for damage, personal injury and non-fulfilment will be taken on by the Disco, but every safeguard / attempt is assured.
It is responsibility of the Booker/Hirer to inform of any restrictions, i.e. Noise Limiters - Time Restrictions - Smoke Detectors, Public Entertainments Licence etc.
We cannot be held responsible for children, guests or the staff being hurt or damage to clothes when near or touching any part of the equipment. We cannot be responsible for guests suffering from any illness or allergy. We carry thousands of tracks but cannot guarantee having every song requested.
